San Diego 2008

Just got back from a trip to a not-so-sunny Southern California. We watched the Oklahoma City University Women Golf Team won the 2008 NAIA National Championship in San Diego. The four-day tournament began on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 and on the last day, it turned cold and rainy. Lee and I sloshed our way through the 18 holes but it was worth it because the OCU Team won. This is the fourth straight year the Team has won the Championship and our daughter, Christina Cung, was fortunate enough to have participated in three. Hopefully, the Team will five-peat next year in South Dakota and that would really be a nice graduation present for Christina.

After San Diego, we went to LA for a couple of days to sightsee and visit my sister-in-law, Diane, and her husband Bob and some other friends.
